Overview

As a Medical Biller at Limitlessli, you will be responsible for managing billing and collections functions for healthcare facilities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company guidelines.

In Short

  • Manage Third Party billing and collections for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure accurate billing statements are issued to the correct payer.
  • Follow up on unpaid claims and document all collection attempts.
  • Apply Third Party payments accurately to resident accounts.
  • Establish good relationships with third party payers.
  • Adhere to company policies and HIPAA regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing training and education.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
  • Work independently and as part of a team.
  • Utilize billing software and Microsoft Office proficiently.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in medical billing and collections.
  • Experience with Medicare and Managed Care.
  • Knowledge of billing software preferred.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Reliable computer and internet connection required.
  • Ability to work during US Eastern Standard Time hours.
  • Experience in a high-volume rehab environment is a plus.
  • Ability to learn new IT systems.
