Overview

We seek a dedicated Eligibility and Benefits Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will work closely with clinical staff to verify insurance coverage, eligibility, and benefits. Your expertise in both 'in-network' and 'out-of-network' benefits, attention to detail, and ability to streamline processes will help ensure patients have access to the care they need.

In Short

• Verify insurance coverage, benefits, and eligibility for each patient
• Review patients' background and health history for accurate eligibility determination
• Ensure adherence to documentation standards and maintain accurate records
• Create and maintain accurate client profiles
• Collaborate with clinical staff for processing patient claims
• Ensure completeness and accuracy of client information
• Assist in developing process improvements

Requirements

• Experience in 'out of network' and 'in network' benefits
• Background in benefits and eligibility verification
• Knowledge of medical billing processes
• Strong documentation skills
• Excellent English writing and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong customer service focus
• Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills
