Lime’s Tax Team is hiring an Indirect Tax Manager! Reporting to the Global Head of Tax, you will learn about the micro-mobility industry while building cross-functional relationships to help improve tax processes, as we continue to grow and scale our operations.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring global tax compliance while evangelizing automation and process improvements within the Finance organization. You will work across multiple jurisdictions on various tax aspects, utilizing technology tools to streamline efficiency and accuracy. In Short

• Manage the preparation and review of global indirect tax filings across North America, LATAM, and APAC.
• Oversee preparation and review of annual US property tax, 1099, and business tax filings.
• Utilize Alteryx and other automation tools to generate tax workpapers.
• Manage external tax audits and reverse audits.
• Research and interpret complex tax issues to improve internal tax processes.
• Spearhead new market and product launches.
• Enable technology adoption across the Finance organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in a complex global environment.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• Beginner or intermediate level Alteryx knowledge required.
• Thorough knowledge of global tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (preferably Netsuite) and tax engines (preferably Vertex) is a plus.
• Ability to lead multiple projects with a high degree of autonomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
