Senior Machine Learning Engineer II - Remote

In Short

• Join the newly formed AI Growth Enablement team at Life360.
• Design and deploy ML models for personalization, experimentation, and automation.
• Build real-time model APIs and maintain scalable infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists and Cloud engineers.
• Work on recommendation engines and user behavior prediction.
• Monitor model health and performance in production.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical specs.
• Participate in on-call rotation for live incidents.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Applied Math, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in building and deploying ML models.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and ML Ops tools.
• Experience with real-time and batch data pipelines.
• Knowledge of experiment design and A/B testing.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and deployment pipelines.
• Bonus: Experience with recommendation systems and mobile integrations.
• Bonus: Familiarity with streaming systems like Kafka.
