In Short

• Design and implement new infrastructure, tooling, and features.
• Propose new solutions and improvements to existing technology.
• Develop observability to match industry best standards.
• Implement new processes and workflows for alerting.
• Gather requirements from developers and distill them into actions.
• Guide developers to use DevOps and SRE best practices.
• Develop and maintain a superb DevEx for application teams.
• Optimise in-house tooling and automation.
• Anticipate issues in lower environments.
• Deliver new features for developers.

Requirements

• Expert knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Extensive experience with Terraform and ideally Terragrunt.
• Good Linux fundamentals.
• Strong Bash scripting skills.
• Solid scripting or programming in at least one language (Python, Go, etc.).
• Use and administration of GitOps tools at scale.
• Highly proficient with AWS; experience with GCP is a plus.
• Good understanding of containerisation (Docker, containerd).
• Monitoring and Observability experience.
• Security-first mindset.
