Overview

Hiro is seeking a DevOps Engineer to help scale, secure, and optimize the infrastructure powering the Stacks ecosystem, ensuring our developer community can build on reliable and observable infrastructure.

In Short

• Architect and operate Kubernetes clusters across production, staging, and testnet environments.
• Build and manage API Gateway infrastructure for high-scale external APIs.
• Deploy and monitor Chainhook-2.0 within Platform.
• Own Stacks Public Testnet reliability, including alerting and metrics.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for all infrastructure resources.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines for internal services.
• Enhance observability with SLO-based alerts and distributed tracing.
• Partner with teams for smooth rollouts and incident preparedness.
• Debug production issues across services.
• Engineer solutions to automate monitoring and incident escalation.

Requirements

• 8+ years in DevOps/SRE roles operating high-availability distributed systems.
• Deep Kubernetes expertise.
• Strong background in API infrastructure.
• Proficiency with container technologies like Docker.
• Skilled in IaC and CI/CD.
• Experience with observability stacks.
• Strong networking knowledge.
• Proficiency with scripting languages.
• Cloud experience, ideally multi-cloud.
• Excellent communication skills.
