The Senior DevOps Engineer at Insperity plays a crucial role in maintaining and improving the software development toolchain, ensuring application performance, and managing shared infrastructure services.

In Short

• Execute technical strategies for software development toolchain maintenance.
• Lead the implementation of Insperity’s Continuous delivery automation platform.
• Collaborate on DevOps tools selection and configuration.
• Automate processes for consistency and efficiency.
• Mentor and coach other engineers on DevOps best practices.
• Participate in defining best practices for DevOps Engineering.
• Document processes and solutions according to standards.
• Analyze and recommend improvements for existing processes and tools.
• Support disaster recovery planning as required.
• Contribute to the accomplishment of Insperity Company goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 5-7 years in software development or 3+ years in DevOps Engineering.
• Ability to script and automate tasks.
• Experience with Windows environments and scripting languages.
• Extensive knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Strong understanding of application performance metrics.
• Experience with build tools and continuous integration.
• Good understanding of change control processes.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
