Overview

The Inside Sales Specialist will contribute to the growth of the proficiency testing business in North America by maintaining and developing customer relationships and pursuing new business opportunities.

In Short

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in proficiency testing.
  • Support commercial personnel in managing and growing PT business.
  • Increase sample volume sales across North America.
  • Respond to customer inquiries via various communication methods.
  • Attend trade shows and conferences.
  • Provide training and technical support for customers.
  • Contribute to initiatives for growth of proficiency testing schemes.
  • Maintain awareness of competitors and local standards.

Requirements

  • Experience in the Life Sciences sector, preferably in Analytical or Reference space.
  • Understanding of Chemistry and/or Microbiology.
  • Experience meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Ability to manage commercial relationships effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically (90% home-based).
