Tax Manager - Remote

Overview

An exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and enthusiastic Tax Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations, develop and implement effective tax strategies, and provide expert guidance on tax-related matters to the business.

In Short

• Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of all UK and US tax returns.
• Develop and implement tax-efficient strategies to minimize the company's global tax burden.
• Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations.
• Implement and maintain an effective Tax Risk, Governance and Control Framework.
• Manage and coordinate tax audits.
• Review and prepare tax provisions.
• Support and review R&D tax credit claims.
• Provide expert advice on tax-related matters.
• Identify and implement process improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in tax compliance, tax planning and tax audit.
• Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA) or ACCA/ACA qualified.
• Strong understanding of UK tax laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of US tax laws and regulations an advantage.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues and other departments.
