Tax Manager - Remote

Overview

As a Tax Manager at Serve Robotics, you will manage all aspects of the consolidated and entity level direct and indirect taxes, track new legislation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

In Short

• Manage preparation and review of federal tax returns.
• Ensure timely filing of consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns.
• Own preparation and filing of company credits and incentives.
• Implement processes related to indirect taxes.
• Develop strategic tax planning for federal and state taxes.
• Manage external consultants for tax document preparation.
• Coordinate overall return calendar and inputs.
• Maintain control procedures over the tax process.
• Facilitate IRS income tax audits.
• Monitor tax law developments and communicate effects to management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
• 8+ years of compliance, audit, research, and planning experience.
• Ability to collaborate with Legal and Business teams.
• Strong knowledge of tax code and compliance procedures.
• Familiarity with U.S. tax reporting requirements.
• Experience with tax operations and process improvements.
• Experience with R&D Credit and Filing process.
• CPA certification.
