Tax Manager - Remote

Are you a highly skilled and licensed Tax Manager ready to elevate your career with a path to move into a lead tax role in the future? We're seeking an experienced Tax Manager to spearhead our tax provisions, ensuring U.S. income tax reporting, tax controversy, mergers and acquisitions support, and driving continuous improvement to reduce the Company's overall tax burden and risk.

In Short

• Salary Range: $124,000 - $158,000 per year
• Schedule: 8:30am-5pm Monday through Friday (4 days in-office, Des Plaines, IL)
• Hybrid work model with 1 remote day per week
• Oversee key tax processes including tax provisions and compliance
• Drive continuous improvement of tax processes and procedures
• Collaborate across tax disciplines and with outside tax accounting firms
• Provide guidance to the Executive Management Team on tax matters
• Requires Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, CPA, and 6+ years of accounting experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• CPA Required
• 6+ years’ accounting experience (3+ years in public accounting minimum required)
• 6+ years of federal and state corporate income tax compliance experience
• 3+ years of tax provision experience (ASC 740)
• Strong interpersonal skills and consistent follow-through on tasks
• Ability to work independently in a highly organized manner
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Integrity and sound judgment in all decisions
