QA Engineer - Remote

Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products. You'll take ownership of test planning and execution, contribute to the evolution of our QA practices, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features. In addition to deep exploratory and manual testing, you'll actively contribute to and maintain automation efforts, while mentoring junior team members and helping to raise the overall quality bar.

• Leading exploratory testing for complex features and modules, identifying edge cases and real-world user scenarios.
• Designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive test cases (manual and automated) to validate functionality, performance, and reliability.
• Documenting and reporting bugs clearly with complete reproduction steps, logs, and relevant artifacts.
• Driving collaboration with product managers, developers, and QA peers during sprint planning, story grooming, and product reviews.
• Contribute to enhancing and maintaining test automation for regression and smoke scenarios using tools such as Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Participating in and contributing to test planning, risk assessments, and release validation strategies.
• Taking initiative in improving QA processes, tools, and standards to boost test effectiveness and team efficiency.
• Using browser developer tools, Postman, and proxies for validating APIs, network calls, and backend integration.
• Supporting testing across multiple environments (development, staging, production).
• Mentoring junior QA engineers, providing guidance on test design, defect reporting, and QA best practices.

Requirements

• Experience in QA testing methodologies and practices.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Cypress, Selenium, or Playwright.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with API testing and tools like Postman.
