Engineering Manager - Remote

Overview

As part of our continuous growth, we are seeking a seasoned Engineering Manager to lead three engineering teams. Our team of approximately 90 engineers is working in small scrum teams. Each team has end-to-end responsibility for a specific product or part of our architecture. We work on a remote-first basis, coming together in person at our Amsterdam headquarters twice a year.

In Short

• Lead and guide three engineering teams (20-30FTE total).
• Shape the technical direction and success of our cloud hosting solutions.
• Develop and execute strategic plans aligning engineering teams with business objectives.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering teams and other departments.
• Ensure successful planning, execution, and delivery of projects.
• Drive technical excellence and adherence to best practices.
• Provide mentorship and professional development for team members.
• Work closely with Team Leads and Product Owners.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement.
• Report to the Director of Engineering for Leaseweb Global.

Requirements

• Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure and networking.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a technical environment.
• Success in leading multiple engineering teams.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Embrace agile ways of working.
