In Short

  • Identify and prospect potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach.
  • Qualify leads based on company criteria and set up discovery meetings for the sales team.
  • Engage with inbound leads to assess their needs and determine sales opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions and pipeline progress in a CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to refine outreach strategies and campaigns.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the company's tech solutions to effectively communicate value propositions.
  • Work closely with Account Executives to ensure seamless handoffs of qualified leads.
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs), including calls made, emails sent, and meetings booked.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to improve sales pitches.
  • Actively participate in sales training and development programs to improve prospecting techniques.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outbound sales, lead generation, or business development within a tech company.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage prospects effectively.
  • Experience using CRMs such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Pipedrive for lead tracking and reporting.
  • Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts and software solutions.
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a strong drive to exceed targets.
  • Strong research skills to identify potential customers and understand market dynamics.
  • Ability to handle rejection and persist in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Organizational and time management skills to manage multiple prospects efficiently.
