Overview

As a Customer Engagement Specialist, you will provide vital support to Medicaid recipients, helping them navigate their dental benefits and access essential services.

In Short

  • Answer 40-60 inbound calls daily.
  • Assist members with inquiries about dental benefits.
  • Document and update member information accurately.
  • Investigate and resolve issues for members.
  • Work in compliance with HIPAA requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for issue resolution.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Flexible work hours between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. CT.
  • Must work 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Possibility of overtime during peak seasons.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in healthcare customer service.
  • 1+ year in a high-volume call center.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently in a virtual environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated empathy and sensitivity with callers.
  • Able to adapt to changing situations.
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
  • Associate's Degree in relevant field preferred.
