Risk Management Technician - Remote

Overview

Le’fant is seeking a Risk Management Technician to track efforts related to Assessment & Authorization (A&A) for a federal customer to ensure assigned information systems, devices, and networks can obtain and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) and other decisions.

In Short

• Track efforts related to A&A for federal customer.
• Conduct assessments of information systems and networks.
• Identify vulnerabilities, risks, and security requirements.
• Provide weekly status updates.
• Support work in eMASS packages.
• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
• Familiarity with IA controls analysis and risk assessments.
• Experience with vulnerability scanning tools.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers and customers.
• Experience with tools such as ServiceNow, GitHub, and Jira.

Requirements

• Must live in the US and have maintained a permanent residence for at least 3 years.
• Applicants will be subject to a security investigation.
• Knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and VA Risk Management policies.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a team-oriented, collaborative, agile environment.
