Overview

As a Strategic Technical Account Manager, you'll lead our mission to enhance customer experiences, build lasting partnerships, and seamlessly integrate LaunchDarkly into their existing processes and practices. You'll collaborate with clients to address technical challenges, align LaunchDarkly with their goals, and create tailored Success Plans. Your role includes optimizing their use of LaunchDarkly, finding innovative integration opportunities, and advising new business units on effective strategies. You'll work closely with our Revenue Account Team to drive mutual value and build strong relationships, promoting the advanced use of LaunchDarkly in existing accounts and expanding our networks.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their objectives and providing guidance.
  • Expand your network by collaborating with technical partners.
  • Detect and diagnose risks to customer success and develop mitigation plans.
  • Prescriptively sell additional products and services to customers.
  • Plan successful onboarding and adoption for new customers.
  • Own the onboarding process for new customers, ensuring they maximize value from LaunchDarkly.
  • Document customer onboarding processes to validate success.
  • Build relationships with key advocates within customer organizations.
  • Be proactive and self-motivated in your role.
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Must be located in the East or Central Time-zone.
  • 6+ years in a customer-facing role, ideally in onboarding or account management.
  • Experience with Fortune 500 firms and change management initiatives.
  • Comfortable with scripting languages like JS, Python, .NET, or Java.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD processes and version control in Git.
  • Understanding of Agile frameworks and ability to spot bottlenecks.
  • Project management experience with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to balance reactive and proactive customer engagement.
  • Strong diplomacy and poise under pressure.
  • Ability to learn technical product use cases quickly.
