GL Accountant - Remote

Overview

The GL Accountant reports to the Finance Director and plays an active role in various accounting operations. This position collaborates closely with the Accounting team and cross-functional partners such as FP&A, Tax, and Finance Support Ops, building strong relationships with key stakeholders.

In Short

• Manage global cash and bank accounting processes for all LastPass subsidiaries.
• Execute global payment runs on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Contribute to the month-end close by posting accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare domestic federal, state, and local tax filings.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure accurate general ledger activity.
• Develop understanding of internal order and booking systems.
• Support external auditors with audit requests.
• Help maintain an effective internal control environment.
• Partner with senior leadership for process improvements.
• Participate in multi-functional sub-team for Cash Application and Indirect Taxes.

Requirements

• Background in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proven experience in accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Self-motivated and eager to learn.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
