In Short

• Support the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• Assist in day-to-day operations (accounts payable and receivable, asset accounting, national and international payments).
• Contribute to the preparation and execution of the annual financial audit.
• Assist with the preparation and submission of national and international VAT returns.
• Help integrate international subsidiaries into the group.
• Evaluate and implement process and system improvements through documentation and automation.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve corporate goals and successfully implement projects.

Requirements

• Completed degree in business administration, ideally with a focus on accounting/taxation.
• Strong knowledge of German accounting standards (HGB) and tax regulations.
• Experience in a startup or scale-up environment.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Precise, structured, and independent working style in a remote setting.
• Fluent in German and English.
