Overview

The Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal guidance for product development, focusing on financial products and AI, ensuring compliance with regulations and translating complex legal requirements into actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, ideally in-house at a tech/software company.
• LL.M. with a focus on Finance Law, IT Law or similar.
• Experience in advising product teams on legal requirements.
• Strong understanding of German and EU regulatory frameworks.
• Experience with AI governance and legal frameworks for AI products.
• Ability to translate legal processes into templates and automations.
• Strong communication skills in English and German.
• Experience in managing high work volumes and multiple projects.
• Ability to recognize broader implications of legal issues.
• Experience working with executive management.
