Finance Manager - Remote

In Short

• Lead the Finance Department and manage department staff.
• Oversee financial operations and compliance in a federal-government contracting environment.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable/billing, and monthly financial close process.
• Develop and maintain monthly reports and dashboards on financial performance.
• Prepare variance analyses and financial-risk reports for projects.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure contractual and financial compliance.
• Prepare reports on project cost for clients.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance processes and policy implementation.
• Provide financial training and support across divisions.
• Ensure compliance with federal-government reporting and tax requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• At least ten (10) years of progressive experience in finance or accounting.
• Minimum of five (5) years in a managerial role.
• Proficiency in GAAP, FAR, CAS, and indirect-rate structures.
• Strong understanding of various contract types.
• Experience with government business proposals and pricing regulations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
• Experience supporting federally funded initiatives in public health or healthcare is a plus.
