Finance Manager - Remote

Overview

As our Finance Manager, you'll take full ownership of finance operations and ensure we meet high standards of compliance, accuracy, and internal control.

In Short

• Oversee day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage relationships with our external accountant and payroll provider.
• Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual close of the management accounts.
• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts and liaise with auditors for year-end processes.
• Ensure tax filings (VAT, corporation tax, PAYE) are submitted accurately and on time.
• Help implement and maintain financial systems and tools as needed.
• Partner with People Ops on payroll, benefits, and compensation processes.
• Have at least 2-4 years' experience in a similar role.
• Are part or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.

Requirements

• Strong grounding in core finance operations and UK compliance requirements.
• Confident managing external providers and ensuring quality in outsourced processes.
• Familiarity with cloud-based finance tools like Xero, Dext, Spendesk, Chargebee, or similar.
• Highly organised, process-driven, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
