• Analyzes complex business problems and identifies solutions.
• Leads strategic initiatives independently and partners with technical teams.
• Owns and prioritizes the product development backlog.
• Converts high-level strategic inputs into user stories and tickets.
• Maintains backlog prioritization aligned to timelines and objectives.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC and HL7 IGs for predictable delivery.
• Organizes and leads sprint-planning sessions and backlog refinement.
• Mentors junior business analysts in Agile practices.
• Tracks and reports key Agile metrics for team performance.
• Identifies and mitigates risks early in the development process.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health informatics, computer science, or related field.
• At least 12 years of relevant work experience.
• Extensive experience as a business analyst in software-development projects.
• Advanced expertise in requirements frameworks and methodologies.
• Experience leading sprint-planning sessions and Agile practices.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
• Experience with software development lifecycle management tools.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
• Ability to work well with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment.
