In Short

  • Leadership role in Manufacturing Sciences and Technology (MSAT).
  • Reports to the Senior Vice President of Manufacturing, Sourcing and Supply.
  • Provides technical oversight for core MSAT functions.
  • Involves CDMO technical support and technology transfer.
  • Responsible for process monitoring and validation for CAR T drug products.
  • Acts as global technical SME for Drug Product and Vector manufacturing.
  • Creates validation standards and qualification strategies.
  • Collaborates with manufacturing sites for oversight and support.
  • Develops strategic vision and hires staff for the organization.
  • Ensures alignment of key focus areas across Technical Operations.

Requirements

  • Experience in biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of process validation and regulatory submissions.
  • Expertise in cell therapy and T cell engineering.
  • Leadership experience in technical operations.
  • Ability to develop and implement process monitoring programs.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with CAR T drug products is a plus.
  • Ability to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in hiring and developing staff.
