Senior Java Developer - Remote

Kyivstar.Tech is seeking a Java Developer for a product team that works with a group of internal products. The company focuses on creating technological solutions that fulfill the potential of companies and the needs of users.

In Short

• Develop high-load, distributed middleware and backend applications in the telecommunications field.
• Participate in the design and development of microservices architecture and new business logic.
• Develop, build, deploy code, optimize, and conduct code reviews.
• Write unit, integration, and load tests.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Consult on new and existing products for project documentation approval.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of programming experience.
• Knowledge of high-load systems.
• Proficiency in Java Core (JVM, Concurrency, Parallelism, Data Structures, Streams).
• Experience with Akka (HTTP, Streams).
• Development experience in Web applications (JSON/XML).
• Experience with NoSQL/SQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes, Maven, Gradle, JUnit.
• Experience with Grafana, ELK Stack, Artifactory.
• Understanding of SMPP Protocol v3.4.
• Familiarity with data exchange brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• Experience with distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker stack.
• English reading proficiency.
