Senior Java Developer - Remote

Overview

Convaris GmbH is seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to work for a renowned client company, contributing to the development of modern IT systems in a forward-looking environment.

In Short

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable Java applications.
• Enhance existing software solutions using modern frameworks and tools.
• Technical responsibility within the development team, including code reviews and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of professional experience in Java development.
• Very good knowledge of Java (from version 11) and Spring/Spring Boot.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and DevOps approaches.
• Knowledge of microservices architectures and RESTful APIs is a plus.
• Structured, independent working style and team spirit.
• Good German and/or English language skills.
