Overview

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer to join one of our clients' teams with a 6 months contract, with the possibility to extend. This role offers an exciting opportunity to grow in an innovative environment.

In Short

Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable Java-based backend applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using Java 11+ and Spring Boot.
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Optimize performance and ensure high availability of backend components.
Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across environments.
Participate in AWS infrastructure optimization and implementation.
Coordinate and communicate regularly with German-speaking stakeholders.
Provide technical mentorship to junior developers.
Work closely with DevOps/Cloud teams to ensure smooth CI/CD processes.

Requirements

8+ years of commercial experience with Java.
Strong expertise with Spring/Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, REST APIs.
Solid background in cloud-native development with AWS.
Experience with CI/CD, Git, and modern DevOps workflows.
German – C1 level (mandatory).
English – B2 level (for internal collaboration).
Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills.
Experience working in agile/Scrum environments.
