Senior Modernization and Capabilities Developer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Modernization and Capabilities Developer will support the Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) G-5 Directorate by leading the identification, assessment, and integration of innovative technologies and processes to enhance Marine Corps installations.

In Short

• Lead efforts to identify, assess, and implement new technologies, processes, and capabilities.
• Establish collaboration with Marine Corps Warfighting Lab and other agencies.
• Develop strategies to align modernization initiatives with operational requirements.
• Oversee the development of policies and procedures for new capabilities.
• Conduct policy reviews to ensure alignment with modernization objectives.
• Develop strategic planning documents for modernization initiatives.
• Engage with leadership and external agencies to meet operational needs.
• Provide conference planning and meeting support.
• Communicate modernization progress to senior leadership.
• Support Marine Corps leadership in long-term planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Community Planning, Facility Management, or related field.
• Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.
• 10+ years of experience in capabilities development or strategic planning.
• Strong understanding of Marine Corps and DoD modernization programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and analytical tools.
• Ability to lead strategic modernization initiatives.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a classified environment.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
• Prior military experience is highly desired.
