Junior Operations Research Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Junior Operations Research Analyst will support MCICOM G-9 Installation Analytics (IA) in delivering data-informed decision support for Marine Corps installations. This role involves descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics to optimize infrastructure and installation services, contributing to strategic planning and resource allocation.

• Extract and manipulate data from SQL and other formats.
• Implement statistical analysis in cloud environments.

• Conduct economic and cost-benefit analyses.
• Develop optimization models for investment strategies.
• Provide training on modeling methodologies.
• Deliver analytic products including briefs and visualizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations Research, Data Science, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Up to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, Tableau, SQL).
• Strong communication skills for presenting findings to senior leadership.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance.
• Familiarity with DoD cost estimating and PPBE processes is a plus.
