Overview

As a fully remote company, Kraken is looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join the Growth team, driving the mission to expand its global user base by optimizing the user journey in the world of crypto.

In Short

• Design and implement robust services and libraries.
• Work across both frontend and backend, owning solutions end to end.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience developing backend systems using Rust, Go, TypeScript, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience developing frontend applications using JavaScript or TypeScript.
• Proficiency with React as a frontend framework.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform.
• Strong knowledge of modern databases, including MySQL (MariaDB) and Redis.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab CI.
• Security-first mindset when designing systems.
• Ability to debug issues across the stack autonomously.
• Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to a strong technical culture.
