Senior Full Stack Software Engineer - Remote

We are seeking a Software Engineer who will help solve complex technical and operational problems in the cybersecurity industry. Candidates will directly support Blackpoint’s cyber security mission, helping to stop cyber-attacks, and protecting Blackpoint’s rapidly growing customer base.

In Short

• Be responsible for delivering on business-critical outcomes through your product contributions to our cybersecurity platform.
• Lead and drive projects across the stack, Typescript, React, Node.js services hosted on Kubernetes.
• Leverage your deep understanding of design and architecture, along with best practices in design patterns.
• Excel as a team player by recognizing the importance of diverse perspectives and managing expectations across numerous cross-functional groups.
• Communicate effectively with leadership to define technical solutions aligning them with business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of industry experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies such as React and Typescript.
• Strong backend development skills with Node.js.
• Expertise in designing and consuming APIs (REST, GraphQL, or gRPC).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of database design and performance tuning.
• A deep understanding of security best practices.
• Strong desire to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
