As Principal, Compliance for Kraken’s Consumer Business Unit, you’ll drive compliance initiatives that fuel our mission to bring world-class crypto products to users worldwide.

• Partner with Consumer BU leaders to ensure compliance considerations accelerate product and market expansion.
• Serve as the primary liaison with Kraken’s global compliance teams.
• Develop and implement efficient compliance processes.
• Provide insights on new regulations and market trends.
• Advocate for the Consumer BU’s vision within the compliance function.
• Develop compliance risk management plans.
• Work with regional compliance teams for global product rollouts.

Requirements

• 6+ years in a Compliance, Risk, or Legal function.
• Strong knowledge of the global regulatory landscape for crypto.
• Proven track record in complex, cross-functional projects.
• Excellent analytical skills for actionable recommendations.
• Keen attention to detail and effective communication skills.
• Deep technical expertise within the crypto ecosystem.
• Resourceful mindset with data analysis skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
