Manager, Treasury - Americas - Remote

Overview

The Kraken Treasury Manager is a highly visible role requiring dynamic interactions across the entire finance organization, global settlements, product, and business development teams. This candidate will lead a team in facilitating the firm’s liquidity, cash management, and treasury operations needs.

In Short

• Manage a team of 3-5 individual Treasury Analysts.
• Oversee cash flows, loans, interest earnings, and treasury forecasting.
• Execute high value payments for treasury rebalancing.
• Collaborate with trading analysts for crypto trades and fiat transactions.
• Manage treasury operations tools across global banking partners.
• Provide global 24/7 settlement services.
• Ensure continuous improvement of processes.
• Conduct detailed analysis for liquidity management.
• Weekend work required 1-3 times per month.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or Economics. MBA Preferred.
• 7+ years experience in Accounting, Financial Services, and Treasury roles.
• Knowledge and passion for bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
• Experience with crypto operations and settlements.
• Experience executing and settling spot FX.
• Team management experience for 2+ years.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to build financial models.
• Comprehension of balance sheets and transaction effects.
• Understanding of global payment networks like SWIFT.
• Technical skills in Excel and SQL preferred.
