Overview

As a fully remote company, Kraken is seeking a Director, Global Compensation to design, lead, and elevate global programs that reflect our Total Rewards philosophy and ensure that Krakenites thrive.

In Short

• Partner with the VP, Total Rewards to drive compensation strategy.
• Serve as a strategic business partner to senior leaders.
• Design and administer global compensation programs.
• Devise competitive solutions for the marketplace.
• Stay current on global compensation regulations.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance for compensation plans.
• Lead M&A due diligence for compensation.
• Prepare compensation materials for senior stakeholders.
• Build partnerships with external vendors.

Requirements

• 15+ years in global compensation experience.
• Ability to manage programs and champion new initiatives.
• Strong operations and results-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills.
• Knowledge of regulatory impacts on compensation.
• Experience in high-growth startups and large organizations.
• CCP certification preferred.
• Passion for cryptocurrency is a plus.
