Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Accountant will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and collaborating with finance and cross-functional teams to maintain accurate financial data.

In Short

• Manage accounting activities for Polish and American entities.
• Daily reconciliation of cash accounts.
• Handle accounts payable and vendor payments.
• Record sales and purchase transactions.
• Assist with receivables and collections.
• Prepare VAT, CIT, and PIT tax declarations.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Ensure accuracy of accounting entries.
• Collaborate with finance and other departments.
• Support audit processes.

Requirements

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• At least 3 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with Polish accounting.
• Familiarity with NetSuite or other accounting systems preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
• Experience in preparing VAT returns.
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in English and Polish at B2 level or higher.
