In Short

• Use the Product: One of our core rules is you can’t ship a doc unless you’ve successfully tested what’s written.
• Focus on the End User: Write deployment and configuration guides, user guides, API and command references, tutorials, and best practices guides based on real world user needs.
• Collaborate: Shipping great docs is a team game. Work with writers, engineers, product managers, and UX designers to develop clear and concise technical content.
• Continually improve: Both the documentation, and yourself. Whether it’s internal processes, tooling or new skillsets, this is a team that values improvement in all things.

Requirements

• Empathy, curiosity, and a willingness to try new things, especially those outside of your comfort zone.
• 4+ years experience writing clear, concise technical material for developers and/or enterprise admins.
• Experience working asynchronously with teams distributed across the world.
• Candor. There are still things we can improve. We want you to help make the team better.
