Event Manager - Remote

Overview

The Event Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the Demand Generation team by managing various aspects of event planning, including sponsorships, logistics, and post-event analysis.

In Short

• Support large and small scale sponsored events.
• Assist with Kong’s annual API Summit conference.
• Manage production and logistics of swag for the EMEA GTM team.
• Develop strategies for post-event communications and promotions.
• Coach and train field teams on Kong’s booth pitch.
• Support EMEA Field Marketing and Developer Marketing teams.
• Handle additional tasks as required by the manager.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of events management experience.
• Desire to learn a technical product and pitch to industry professionals.
• Strong communication skills and ability to write compelling copy.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and adhere to budgets.
• Experience with Marketo, Salesforce, Tableau, and Confluence.
• Competence with Google G-Suite tools.
• Willingness to travel 30% of the time internationally.
