Overview

Kim Lundgren Associates, Inc. (KLA) is seeking a qualified, full-time Community Engagement & Communications Manager to lead the KLA Engagement & Communications Team and the delivery of these services to our clients and their community stakeholders.

In Short

• Lead KLA’s Engagement & Communications Team.
• Design and implement public engagement and communications strategies.
• Conduct community surveys, focus groups, workshops, and other engagement activities.
• Oversee the development of communications and outreach materials.
• Manage relationships with client teams.
• Design and promote new service offerings related to community engagement.
• Serve as the Engagement and Communications Lead on client projects.
• Support business development through research and networking.
• Travel expected for client engagements.
• Work in a remote team environment.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in public engagement and/or communications.
• Experience managing staff, clients, and projects.
• Expertise in designing equitable engagement activities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to learn and improve performance.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Experience with survey design and analysis.
• Ability to translate data into everyday terms.
• Flexibility to adapt in a dynamic environment.
