Senior Manager of Climate Analysis - Remote

Overview

Kim Lundgren Associates, Inc. (KLA) is seeking an experienced, self-driven Senior Manager of Climate Analysis to lead the KLA Climate Analysis Team and all technical assessments of local government and community greenhouse gas emissions, climate vulnerabilities, and impact potential of climate actions.

In Short

• Lead KLA’s Engagement & Communications Team.
• Design and implement public engagement and communications strategies with local government clients.
• Oversee community surveys, focus groups, workshops, and other engagement activities.
• Manage relationships with client teams to ensure satisfaction with services.
• Support business development through research and networking.
• Design new service offerings related to community engagement.
• Lead various client projects as the Engagement and Communications Lead.
• Ensure the KLA Climate Analysis Team stays updated on best practices.
• Evaluate data quality and identify solutions to challenges.
• Participate in KLA’s performance and accountability bonus program.

Requirements

• 7-10 years’ experience with greenhouse gas emissions inventories/accounting.
• At least 2 years’ experience with climate vulnerability assessments.
• Experience managing staff, clients, and projects.
• Knowledge of the impact of climate change on communities.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools including Excel, R, and GIS software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Demonstrated success in scoping and completing GHG accounting tasks.
• Ability to translate data and science into everyday terms.
