Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at KIPP, you will play a critical role within the Application Development team, responsible for developing and supporting custom-built applications that impact the education and success of students.

In Short

Design and develop applications to improve student outcomes.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with KIPP's mission.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
Oversee deployment pipelines and ensure system stability.
Serve as Tier II support for application issues.
Maintain documentation for application development infrastructure.
Implement backup and disaster recovery procedures.
Work with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
Customize applications across multiple technology platforms.
Participate in user acceptance testing to ensure quality.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in software development.
Expertise in Salesforce development (APEX, Flows, etc.).
Proficiency in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
Experience with SQL Server and API integration.
Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud environments.
Hands-on experience with CMS platforms and marketing tools.
Proficient in project management tools like Jira.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
