Overview

The Development Coordinator for Individual Giving at KIND is responsible for supporting fundraising efforts through project coordination and administrative tasks, contributing to the protection of unaccompanied and separated children.

In Short

  • Provide administrative support to the Chief Development Officer and Individual Giving team.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for outreach to the development office.
  • Assist with written communications to donors and prospects.
  • Conduct prospect research and manage donor relations.
  • Support fundraising events and manage RSVPs.
  • Maintain and update donor databases, particularly Salesforce.
  • Prepare presentations and major donor-facing materials.
  • Coordinate meetings and manage the Chief Development Officer’s calendar.
  • Work collaboratively in a remote environment.
  • Contribute to the mission of safeguarding children's rights and well-being.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience managing CRM databases.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience in a remote working environment preferred.
  • Ability to interact with diverse stakeholders professionally.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
