Overview

The Development Coordinator supports the AHRC New York City Foundation in its fundraising and grant-making activities to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

In Short

  • Support fundraising and grant-making efforts for AHRC New York City.
  • Assist in event planning and execution.
  • Process donations and manage donor information.
  • Maintain filing systems and administrative procedures.
  • Handle bill payments and petty cash reconciliations.
  • Work both on-site and remotely as needed.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge for tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
  • Participate in various administrative duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree plus 6 months to 1 year of experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Raiser’s Edge.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage priorities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work outside normal hours as needed.
