ELA Content Writer - Remote

Overview

The ELA Content Writer will be responsible for editing and designing digital curriculum products within the Kiddom platform as well as editing and designing additional supplemental resources, ensuring that teacher and student-facing content are optimized for our digital platform.

In Short

• Manually author/edit interactive question types using the Kiddom platform
• Author/edit supplemental resources aligned to existing curriculum
• Review content and provide Quality Assurance feedback
• Ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders
• Continuously monitor progress and make adjustments as needed
• Troubleshoot and problem solve when situations do not align with usual processes
• 3-5 years of K-12 ELA classroom teaching experience required
• 2+ years of instructional design experience preferred
• Strong empathy for educators and passion for improving education equitably
