Controller - Remote

Overview

The Controller will lead accounting and controls for Khloud, ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and optimizing processes in a fast-scaling environment.

In Short

• Own and improve the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Ensure accuracy of revenue recognition and accruals.
• Lead ERP transition from Quickbooks to NetSuite.
• Manage gross to net revenue accounting and working capital.
• Build and manage a high-performing accounting team.
• Establish strong internal controls.
• Work closely with Sales on trade terms and promotions.
• Support banking relationships and debt compliance.
• Implement cycle counts and support inventory audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
• 8–12+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience in CPG, food/beverage, or manufacturing industries.
• NetSuite and ERP implementation experience preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience in a growth-stage company.
