Overview

Kensington Investment Company, Inc. (KIC) is looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join their People & Culture team. This role involves providing HR support in recruitment, onboarding, payroll, and benefits administration while enhancing employee engagement in a hybrid work environment.

In Short

• Manage recruitment processes including job postings and candidate sourcing.
• Conduct initial phone screens and coordinate interview scheduling.
• Facilitate onboarding and support new hires for smooth integration.
• Process payroll and administer employee benefits.
• Maintain HR records and respond to HR-related inquiries.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and company events.
• Assist with HR metrics tracking and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with HR processes through audits.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of HR experience with payroll and benefits administration.
• Familiarity with HRIS/HCM systems, preferably Paylocity.
• Experience in event planning and employee engagement activities.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong time-management skills and adaptability.
• Effective communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Coursework in Human Resources or related fields is a plus.
