• Keller Postman seeks a Senior Paralegal to support its practice of representing a broad array of clients as plaintiffs in complex litigation.
• The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for performing a variety of complex tasks in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
• Approximately thirty percent of time will be spent coordinating tasks and case assignments.
• Mentoring and training paralegals and legal assistants is a key responsibility.
• Manage all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motion practice, discovery, and appellate procedures.
• Prepare pretrial documents and manage trial transcripts and exhibits.
• Conduct factual and legal research using Westlaw and other sources.
• Cite-check legal documents and verify the accuracy of quoted material.
• Organize and maintain case files and related documents.
• Communicate with courts, clients, and vendors as necessary.

Requirements

• Thorough understanding of litigation motion practice and procedures.
• Proficiency in Bluebook citation formatting and legal citation practices.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to coach and train others.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to manage complex litigation in multiple jurisdictions.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
