Senior Payroll Specialist - Remote

Overview

Keeper is hiring a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Payroll Specialist to support our global payroll operations. This is a 100% remote position from select locations with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the Chicago, IL metro area.

In Short

• Process bi-weekly and monthly payrolls for U.S. and international employees
• Ensure compliance with multi-state and multi-country tax laws and labor regulations
• Administer off-cycle payrolls, bonuses, commissions, and equity-related transactions
• Stay current on global and U.S. state-specific payroll regulations, tax laws, and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors for payroll-related audits
• Ensure accurate filings of payroll taxes and year-end documents
• Manage and optimize ADP payroll platform
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities
• Partner with People Operations, Finance, and Legal on payroll policy
• Support international hiring and expansion from a payroll perspective

Requirements

• Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of payroll processes
• Experience with ADP and other payroll systems
• Knowledge of multi-state and international payroll regulations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Experience in a fast-paced, growing environment
• Proficiency in payroll tax reporting and compliance
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
