Overview

The Deputy Program Manager (DPM) is responsible for providing leadership, oversight, and operational management for multiple contracts in a remote setting, requiring 25% travel.

In Short

  • Support the Program Manager in managing multiple work groups.
  • Ensure project quality, schedule, and cost expectations are met.
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients in the Program Manager's absence.
  • Oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance of programs.
  • Lead proposal development and submission.
  • Promote team morale through mentorship and training.
  • Monitor and implement strategic plans for contract requirements.
  • Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction and compliance.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
  • Support business development efforts and identify growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field with an active clinical license.
  • 6+ years of leadership experience in behavioral health care operations.
  • Strong knowledge of military mission activities and behavioral health services.
  • PMP certification or ability to obtain within six months.
  • Lean Six Sigma or CPHQ preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
  • Experience in a Program Management Office (PMO) is a plus.
  • Secret level clearance, at a minimum.
  • Strong strategic mindset for growth.
  • Experience managing subcontractors.
