Senior Employment Counsel - Americas - Remote

Overview

As a Senior Employment Counsel - Americas, you will guide and implement the legal strategy for our EOR product, ensuring compliance with local labor laws while collaborating with various teams.

• Provide legal advice on employment matters.
• Manage legal strategies for EOR solutions.
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Product teams.
• Draft and negotiate commercial contracts.
• Support Sales and Customer Success teams with legal queries.
• Educate stakeholders on legal matters and compliance.
• Mentor and manage members of the Legal team.
• Ensure adherence to jurisdictional legal requirements.
• Conduct training on legal topics as needed.
• Occasional travel may be required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of legal experience in employment matters.
• Experience with EOR operations is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of contract and business law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage risk and provide practical legal solutions.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills.
• Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese proficiency is a plus.
