Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer on our AI Initiatives team, you will take a leadership role in shaping, designing, and building intelligent agents and AI systems that drive Juniper Square’s AI-first strategy.

In Short

• Lead and deliver high-impact projects within cross-functional AI squads.
• Design and implement robust LLM-based solutions.
• Partner with product and design to shape requirements.
• Define and evolve data models and integration pipelines.
• Drive development of scalable APIs.
• Build user-facing experiences using modern frontend frameworks.
• Establish best practices for model evaluation and training workflows.
• Mentor and support junior engineers.
• Champion experimentation and rapid iteration.
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve production issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong expertise with LLMs and NLP.
• Proven ability to architect scalable AI systems.
• Hands-on experience with backend and frontend frameworks.
• Proficiency with Python and/or TypeScript.
• Strong product sense and ability to translate problems into solutions.
• Experience mentoring engineers.
• Familiarity with modern AI tooling.
• A growth mindset and excitement for AI innovation.
